I am 74” tall. My basement ceiling is 90” tall. Will the E95S work in terms of head clearance ? Thanks.
Hi Hayes usually you want to add 18″ of clearance above your height so unfortunately I don’t think it will work for you (at least not comfortably.)
I’m debating between the e95s and e98. I’m 5′ but am all legs and an average stride length. I am VERY hard on equipment (1-2/hr daily). It appears that the e98 has incline option and e95s has none, but variable stride. Are there other pros & cons to the differences between the two? Dawn
Hi Dawn! Sole is a great brand if you are tough on equipment. They are known for the durability of their equipment! You are right, the E95S does not have an incline option and the E98 does. The E95S has the variable stride option also, so you would be able to choose a length that’s most comfortable for you. Other than that, they are very similar machines.
Does the E95S have cushioned foot pedals? Also, I am 5′ 6″ and would like more of a running motion on an elliptical. Is a 20″ stride enough for me or do I need a machine with the capability of a 24″ stride?
Hi Leslie. They aren’t cushioned on the E95S, but they do advertise that they are physical-therapist designed for comfort. Most users under 6″ report that a 20″ stride is comfortable for them – but it is really personal preference. Have you ever tried an elliptical?
Sole has stopped delivery to the door due to COVID. Any idea when that will be changed back to their various delivery options?

Hi Will! Great choice. It is compatible with iPads but I have seen where some of the larger iPads block the fan a little.
Looking at a model comparison chart it says that the E95S does not have power-adjusted incline. This seems to be the only model that doesn’t have it. Is this a mistake in the chart? Does E95S have power-adjusted incline?
Hi Tom! No the Sole E95S doesn’t have power adjusted incline like some of the other ellipticals from Sole. It’s unique in that it has power-adjusted stride.
I am 5′ tall and my husband is 6’1′. Will the stride setting work for both of us?

Hi Deb, the stride has a range of 18-24″ so it should work for both you and your husband. You will likely find the 18″ stride more comfortable, while he is more comfortable near the 22″-24″ range.

Wondering about head clearance for the E95S … my basement ceiling is about 85″ and I’m about 71″. Would this work without grazing my head on the stucco?
I note that the E95S lacks a pretty common feature – adjustable incline. Never having owned an elliptical, I don’t know how much that matters. What’s your take? Maybe incline is something I can’t use in my basement, anyway.

We generally recommend you add 18″ to your overall height to determine ceiling height requirement.
I am I te rested in the E95s, yet I am 5’4″ and want to make sure it is appropriate for my height. Also, is assembly required? If so, how challenging is it. Lastly, how much power does this equipment utilize?

Nice to meet you. The Sole E95S should be okay for your height as it features an adjustable stride length from 18 inches up to 24 inches. As to assembly, it is minimal and not difficult. Regarding power, it will plug in to a normal home electrical socket. Good luck!
