GREAT DEAL! For a limited time, Sole is offering a FREE 90 day trial membership to their interactive fitness technology Studio with the purchase of any Sole elliptical.
One of the main reasons you want to seriously consider the Sole Elliptical E35 is its all about reliability and quality. For the price you are not going to find a more low maintenance cross-trainer. Team member Fred Waters has personally owned a Sole elliptical for over 8 years, and other than occasionally lubricating the railings, he has had NO problems.
There are other factors that make the Sole Elliptical E35 a “Best Buy” including the stability, ergonomic features and the challenging workout. This most recently released model has Bluetooth capability and an upgraded console. The elliptical is able to communicate with your smart device with the help of a free Sole app.
The Sole E35 is in stock for $1,599. Industry leading warranty and a 30 day money back guarantee.

*Shipping/Delivery Note: All Sole ellipticals come with free curbside delivery. For this standard delivery, the driver will back the truck up as far as they can (which is sometimes at the end of your driveway) and unload your elliptical box for you. Ellipticals can often be awkward to move and typically require more than one person. Sole now offers Assembly Authority Delivery for $299. An Assembly Authority Tech will unload the elliptical to the designated room of your choice, assemble it, and demonstrate the functionality for you. This new delivery option is a great deal in our opinion.
We tested the Sole Elliptical E35 at their corporate offices and for a mid-priced elliptical it has a very smooth elliptical motion. That is partially due to the heavy 25 lb. flywheel that provides a comfortable and natural stride. It’s also very quiet if you keep the railings lubed. In the past we have tested it side by side with several Horizon and ProForm models and the difference in stability and noise level was dramatic.
Note: The Sole Elliptical E35 was rated “Best buy” from a popular consumer magazines whose name we cannot mention. In their review they gave it an “Excellent” for construction and exercise range.
Included is a 1/4 mile track feature and a peak and valley graph so you can visualize your progress. Also, the console tilts for optimum viewing based on your height. There are also 20 levels of resistance, making the switch from one level to the next marginal. This allows you to make small incremental adjustments. A feature that we really like is resistance and incline controls located on the moveable handlebars. When you want to make adjustments you don’t have to break your stride and hit buttons on the console.

When we last visited Dick’s Sporting Goods, they carried Sole, Horizon and ProForm elliptical trainers. We asked the salesperson which was the best seller. Without hesitation he said Sole. When we asked why, his response was “the quality blows away the competition”. This updated model with its Bluetooth capability elevates our opinion of the E35 even more. Many other brands have incorporated workout stat tracking into their machines and we’re am happy to see that Sole Fitness is joining in.
We feel this elliptical is one of the best buys in the $1,000-$1,500 range. If you are not all that familiar with the name Sole, their treadmills are used for in-room workouts in the Hilton chain, which says something about their durability. In general, their machines are built to last. We have yet to have a complaint about this machine, meanwhile we have had numerous positive reviews sent from customers.

Great elliptical, especially for the price!
I recently ordered the Sole elliptical E35. I have always used and liked the Precor machines at the gym however I was not willing to pay the price to have one in my home. I tried several machines in fitness stores and Sole was the only brand that felt sturdy for my price range ($1,300 is actually more than I had originally planned on spending).
The assembly time estimate on the Sole web site says 25-35 minutes. I think it took me 2-3 hours and I’m a reasonably mechanical person. That said, all the parts went together very easily and the instructions were decent (could have used more pictures in my opinion). I’ve only used the elliptical twice but find it to be very sturdy. It is also very quiet! I’m not sure how much noise I expected it to make, but it far exceeded my expectations. I hope with time it holds up well and it doesn’t become noisy, but so far it is great!

Hi, Thanks for all the detailed videos on ellipticals! I am planning to buy a sole elliptical for my home and confused between the model E25 and E35, would like to know from your expert advice what’s the beneficial difference between these two models? Thanks!
Hi Swati. The E35 from Sole has a heavier flywheel, which will give you a more stable feeling during your workout. It also has adjustable foot pedals whereas the E25 does not – it gives you more options for adjusting it to your own comfort. The E35 is longer and heavier than the E25, making it more sturdy. You should note – One of our team members owned the E25 for 7 years and had no issues, but still suggests spending the extra $300 for the upgrade.
Hi! I’m having trouble finding exact info on the step up height of this machine. I see above in the comments you mention 18′. Does that include the incline? This machine will be used by my hubs and me. We’re both under 5’10 but our ceilings are only 79′. Will this fit?
Thank you!
Hi MJ, the step up height is 14″. The incline on ellipticals is more or less resistance levels so it won’t necessarily be elevating you as if it were a treadmill (hope this makes sense), but yes, it should fit 🙂
I am 39 active runner want to use the elliptical for my new cardio regime which one do you suggest? I was going to the gym up till now and used the pre core
Hi! Do you have a price range you’d like to stick to?
I’m 6’1″ and we have a 7ft 8″ ceiling. With my shoes on it appears i have a 2″ clearance with the 18″ step up height. Will I hit my head on the ceiling if I keep my feet on the pedals of an Sole E35?
Also, is the upper body have resistance control or adjustment?
Hi Rob. In short – probably. You need to allow yourself a 4″ – 6″ buffer height. 2″ is really close! I might would suggest the SE7i from NordicTrack, it has a 14″ step up height
Hello, I see the maximum stride length for the Sole E34 is 20 inches. What is the minimum stride length and how is the stride adjusted? (foot placement on the pedals?) Since my wife (5’5″ shorter leg length) and i (6’2″ average leg length) will both be using the elliptical, I need to make sure the stride length will work for both of us. Does anyone know the stride length on the ellipticals at 24 Hour Fitness? We went to this gym prior to Covid. Daryl
Hi Daryl! For you and your wife’s differing heights – I would suggest considering the Sole E95S. It has an 18-24″ adjustable stride so you and your wife could both adjust the stride to your preferences. Hope this helps
what is the weight capacity for this eliptical
Hi Brick its 375 lbs.
Hi going back and forth between the Sole E55 and the Sole E35. Am 77 years old, 5 feet, 4 inches tall and prefer something easy and smooth to operate. Have been a gym person for the past 38 years until the virus hit. Which would be the best one for me and will also need to have it put together. I read that the E 55 is 72 inches long and the E 35 is 81 inches long. What is the stride difference? Thank you
Hi Muriel. The Stride on the E35 and E55 are both 20″. Sole does offer assembly of your machine when you purchase for a $239 fee.
I have done a lot of research and really don’t want to spend more than$1000 so the sole 35 is out of my range. What do you think of the sole 25? Also looking at the horizon ae70. – same price. I tried one and the resistance seems tough even on level one so I’m a but concerned about that. Any recommendations?
Hi Carol. The Sole E25 is a great option, as well as the 7.0. We have heard some users report that Horizon’s resistance is difficult even on lower levels.
I’m 5feet1 and knee replacement. In my 70s. Will the 35 work for me
Hi Lula, yes the Sole E35 is a great option!
I finally got around to writing a review. I put this machine together myself (there might have been some offcolor words uttered). Once done it worked perfectly. It is so smooth. It’s pretty amazing and I love it.
can the sole e35 fit me at 6’5″ and my wife at 5’2″
Hi Steve, yes the E35 elliptical is capable of handling over 6″ height.
My wife and I exercise daily on our E35 elliptical machine . We are both in our late 70s and find the low impact perfect for us. We have misplaced the owners manual over the years how can we replace it? We purchased our Sole Elliptical machine 3/6/2010 from Dicks Sporting Goods in Columbus Ohio.
Hi Fred, I would reach out to Sole customer support and ask if they can send you a replacement manual. I don’t think it would be an issue.
I am 5’1 and I noticed that you said “If you are under 5’5″ you may want to consider a machine with with a smaller stride” does Sole make a machine with as good reviews as the E35 for people with smaller strides?
I am 71 years old and 5’1″
Your advise please-
Is the E25 suitable for my height?
need to know ASAP
THANK YOU!
Hi Nancy you may want to look for a machine with an 18′ stride length since you are on the shorter side.
I am 5′ 10″ and the ceiling in my basement is 7′ 8″ where I exercise. Will the Sole E35 work for me with this ceiling height?
Hi Tod,
The step up height on all Sole elliptical machines is 18″ so you’ll have to add that to your height to get the minimum ceiling clearance. In this case adding that to 5’10” you would need a ceiling that is at least 7’4″, so your ceiling height of 7’8″ would be sufficient.
